The Lantern :: A monthly Newsletter from Aneita Fern - The Home of Stickley
Thank You to the Richardson Woman's Club
On February 15th, Aneita Fern hosted about 40 ladies from the Richardson Woman's Club Interiors Division. Thanks to Lee Ringham and Ann Hampton, Chairman of the Interiors Division, for great coffee and conversation! Everyone learned about the history of Stickley, Frank Lloyd Wright and the construction of our store. We were pleased to play host and wish the Woman's Club well with their charitable work with the Richardson Independent School District and beyond.

In Home with Aneita Fern - Don and Jan
When we sell a piece of furniture, we often wonder where it ends up and how a person will incorporate it into his or her home. This new feature will include videos and photos from a client's home and how they're using furnishings and accessories from Aneita Fern to transform a room.

Product Focus: Dream Weaver Rugs and Balls
Dream Weaver makes rugs and decorative pillow balls that are fit to be ties. Yes, that's correct. Using remnants of silk from the manufacture of men's neckties, the artisans at Dream Weaver make spectacular rugs and other products with a very unique look. The rugs have a luscious, thick pile with incredible softness. Better still, they're sewn by hand, filled with hypo-allergenic poly filling, feature non-slip backings and are 100% machine washable. And they're absolutely stunning.
Lego My Lego
For the budding architect in all of us, Lego has introduced two fantastic sets of building blocks, which reproduce two of Frank Lloyd Wright's most iconic works: the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City and "Fallingwater." Each contains building instructions and historical archival photos and materials on the structures. Learning about architecture has never been so hands-on, or fun, for Lego enthusiasts of all ages.
