Calling all Stickley Collectors. It's your most wonderful time of the year because the 2010 Collector's Piece is now available. This year, the limited-edition collectible is
patterned after a rare century-old music cabinet designed by Harvey Ellis, "the genius in the shadows" who worked for Gustav Stickley from 1903-1904.
Today's Harvey Ellis Cabinet is extremely versatile, and serves as a visual centerpiece in any room. Among its many uses: compact bookcase, telephone stand, spirits cabinet, glove stand in a foyer...and it can also be used to house 100 CDs/DVDs. Crafted from solid quartersawn white oak or wild black cherry, the cabinet stands 44" high and is distinguished by its overhanging prairie top, gracefully arched apron, and stylized floral inlay done in a mix of maple, walnut, and cherry. There is a shelf behind the door, and open shelving underneath, all capable of being adjusted or removed. Available in Stickley's full range of hand-rubbed finishes, the collectible Harvey Ellis Cabinet will be offered only during 2010.
