	Aneita Fern is the matriarch of our family and the inspiration for our store. In many ways, she shares the same values and passions of Gustav Stickley, the master craftsman who created the Stickley heirloom furniture collectibles. In celebration to her love of beauty in design, simplicity of form and the satisfaction that comes from creating and owning generational pieces, we will recognize our 1st Anniversary in April, 2008. Aneita Fern was special in how she lived her life and in 2007 we celebrated what would have been her 100th birthday. In tribute to “Our Inspiration”, we strive to make each customer’s visit to Aneita Fern \| The Home of Stickley a memorable one and are certain the 'Antique for the Future' you purchase from us today will be a part of your family for the next 100 years.

	The Tom Jones Drink Stand, originally named after Henry Fielding's legendary 18th century literary character, is being reissued as the 2008 Stickley Collector piece in honor of Gustav Stickley's earliest efforts. Reminiscent of the English and Glasgow Arts & Crafts Movement styles, its four splayed and sculpted legs have incised, carved detail and are connected by a small, fixed shelf, culminating in a simple top with inverted corners. Available in either solid quartersawn white oak or solid cherry and in a number of hand-rubbed Stickley finishes, this collector piece will be available only during 2008. 	Each year, Stickley produces a wonderful piece of collectible furniture in a very limited quantity. In 2007 it was the Harvey Ellis Collector's Table. You can still get this limited production collector's piece for your home at Aneita Fern, while supplies last. First come, first served.

The Pasadena Bungalow Collection is highly influenced by the arts and crafts homes of Pasadena, California and early 20th century designers like Greene and Greene. These clean yet fanciful designs have been given an unexpected twist by being created in exotic sapelli wood from western Africa's Ivory Coast, with accents of African black wood. A hardwood, sapelli grows in eastern and western Africa and is referred to as Gold Coast cedar because of its cedar-like aroma when first cut.

This is the hottest introduction of Arts and Crafts Furniture since the Re-Issue of the Mission Oak Collection in 1989. Its coloration bears similarities to African mahogany, while its strength has been compared to oak. This collection will lend a truly unique flavor to your home.
